Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has lost two of his wives in a span of years. Adelaide Shikanga and Gloria Sekeiyan, both have died on separate Saturday mornings after both collapsed and died in a similar fashion. His first wife, Adelaide, passed away in 2019, after collapsing at their family home in Malinya, Ikolomani Sub-County. The day before her death, Adelaide was in high spirits. She spent the day normally, hosting and chatting with friends and relatives who visited their home. On Saturday morning, she walked to the bathroom. A house help later found her unconscious on the floor. In a tragic parallel, his third wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, also collapsed and died at their family home today on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Gloria’s death came as a complete shock to the family and the public.
